Good place to be with family for a quiet time. Bear rescue facility also there to see. Binocular or spotting scopes is necessary to see birds.

This is good place for visitors and have a bird sanctuary too. There are lots of birds come in winters in a bulk from different countries.
Must visit if you're in Agra .

And there is no vehicle facility to roam in the sanctuary so it's better if you have your own vehicle . ( I had to walk 2 kilometres! to get to the lake !!! )
But really a peaceful place . And view is absolutely fantastic 👌 .
So many things to do.
There is bird watching , you can see many animals and of course view is just lovely .
And can enjoy boating too .
The place is really big .
Just put on t-shirt and shorts and run on the roads in the cold breeze .
Must visit if you're in Agra or if you belong to Agra .

Keetham Lake, Agra. A Ramsar Site.
A Ramsar sites are wetlands of international importance under the Ramsar convention, also known as “The convention on Wetlands”. An intergovernmental environmental treaty established by UNESCO in 1971 and named after the city of Ramsar in Iran, where the convention was signed that year.
Total Sites: 2400+ sites covering over 2.5 million square kilometres.
Ramsar Sites in India: India currently has 75 sites designed as wetlands of International importance.
Indian state with maximum number of Ramsar sites : Tamilnadu (14), followed by Uttar Pardesh (10).
Largest Site in India: Sunderbans wetlands (4230 sq km)

The best time to visit Keetham Lake is November - February of each year as many birds from Siberia visit the sanctuary.
The lake offers great view throughout the day. However, the overall sanctuary premise needs better maintenance as many of its attractions have been closed, including Fish House.
It is a great place to de-stress and surprisingly very economical. The photography enthusiasts can capture many great clicks. Bear House is a disappointment though.
